In Arganil, 14 km away, you find an indoor swimmingpool and once a week one of the biggest market is held there.
There are wonderful climbing and canyoning spots close by.
Gois is 40 km away from Coimbra, connected by public transport and one hour from the Serra Estrella, where you can ski in winter and go hiking in summer. Porto airport is one and a half hours away ,and Lisboa 2 hours by car.
